Global impact
trough local action.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. In total the plan consists of seventeen goals and our ambition is to contribute to all of them, but to mainly focus on those most relevant for our business where we can contribute the most.

UN SDG 3

Good health
and wellbeing

No one can do everything, but everyone can do something to protect, support and further the internationally proclaimed human rights.

Examples of our activities:

  • Ensure compliance with REACH (registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals) and other relevant legislation
  • Every employee is covered by collective agreement

UN SDG 7

Affordable
and clean energy

To lower our energy consumption and thereby our impact on the planet, we aim to be energy self-sufficient and are already investing in energy efficient machinery.

Examples of our activities:

  • Energy self-sufficient from renewable sources by 2025

UN SDG 9

Industry, innovation and infrastructure

We’re constantly finding new ways to reduce both our own and our customers consumption of plastic, as well as both ours and theirs overall impact on the planet.

Examples of our activities:

  • Manufacturing plastic from sustainable sources
  • Thinner stretch film that improves load stability (less material used for a better result)
  • Eco-friendly freight alternatives (gas-powered trucks and electrified trains)

UN SDG 12

Responsible consumption and production

The goal is to be completely circular and self-sufficient when it comes to energy, and to keep helping our clients reduce their consumption of plastic.

Examples of our activities:

  • The Polyethylene Project™

UN SDG 13

Climate action

Taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by helping our clients choose stretch films made from sustainable sources and that requires less plastic to produce.

Examples of our activities:

  • Raising awareness of sustainable plastic
  • Hybrid fleet of company cars
